Later in June we had the opportunity to wander from Camden to Northeast
Harbor with my dad, son Matt, and his close friend, Andreas King-Geovanis. We
enjoyed one of our favorite spots, Seal Bay on Vinalhaven, traveled across to
hike on Isle Au Haut, then sailed to Valley cove for Matt's favorite hike to the
top of Mt. Acadia and back down the other side to swim in Echo lake. Andreas set
the tone by requesting that we go to Duck Harbor on Isle Au Haut to hike to the
cliffs on the other side. That's all we needed to get in gear for what turned
out to be a great decision. It was the perfect day for a hike. Andreas took some
great pictures of the hike.
